Around the holidays, consider advertising about Christmas lights to show how basic electrical upgrades or changes can enhance light displays, etc.

Again the goal of advertising is to create a need - so go to a place where the needy might look. Secondly, a good way to create a need is to attach it to another need or desire. For instance, if someone is building a deck or patio for summer, perhaps they need a certified and licensed electrician to add outdoor and landscape lighting. You could show how to optimize the function and appearance of their new additions. So, as you are advertising your general services, also highlight some applicable a circumstances.     I liked the strategic thinking of this article. So many of us underrate the internet and its usefulness. I am going to take some of the tips in this article and apply it to what we already know. People search the internet first when they need something…they ask google now, not uncle james. So the goal for us was to get ranked on google. Once they see you on google you want it as easy as possible to contact you…meaning all that fluffy website stuff…overkill! Give them good info, a number to reach you, and a quote form to put in their info. Here is our site as an example: We currently are in the map pack on google maps for our area, and rank #4 organically. We get about 1 to 2 leads a day from this and it cost us a fraction of what you might think. If you want, i can connect you to the company that helped us do this.
